How do I control the number of retries if a caller does not provide a response?

For modules that require a response from the caller (e.g. Menu modules or Input modules) you can control how many attempts the system will give the caller.

To change the number of retries in respect of a particular module:

1. Click on the No Response Handler icon

2. Set the DTMF timeout or Max silence duration as the case may be. This is the amount of time the system will wait before determining no response has been entered.

3. Set the number of retries.

4. Select the required No Response Handler. For more details see How do I change the No Response Handler?

Note: You can also control the total number of retries for the entire call by clicking on the cog next to the green settings module at the top of your call flow and setting the Max No Response Retries.
